Injections

I can't believe I've forgotten to write about this.  As one of my earlier posts said, we learned to give Maci the methotrexate as an injection versus orally.  So...the first Friday after our appointment, we did it.  Well Ryan did.  It took us a bit to get psyched up for it.  I held her and we followed Dr. Courtney's directions to a T.  Guess who barely flinched?  I mean almost no reaction?  She didn't even cry!!!  Never underestimate your children.  They are tough little buggers.

Week two of injections...very little reaction and no tears.  Maci is a rockstar (although there is a little limping for the sympathy affect).  Maybe it is the special cupcake bandaids Grandma gave us!  I have yet to do it but I think I could if I had to...maybe.
