4 Year Old Peanut

Kenna had her 4 year check up Friday afternoon.  I told her no shots.  I lied.  Not intentionally of course.  Our pediatrician thought that if she was going to start kindergarten next fall, we might as well do her school shots while we were there.  As usual, Kenna handled it like a champ.  Her appointment went smoothly as she showed off for the doctor.  She weighs just over 32 pounds and falls into the lowest percentiles for height and weight.  She is a tiny little thing.

She is loving preschool and all the fun things they do every day.  Looks like they have 5 field trips planned for September so she will keep busy.  All the activity makes her pretty tired at night and that leads to mouthiness.  We are working on it.

Believe it or not the head of the daycare stopped me today to tell me how the preschool teacher has realized why Kenna is a favorite among all the teachers.  From the sounds of it, she is an excellent student and listens very well.  Ms. Traci said she just wants to do things right and please the teachers.  Hmmm...this must only happen between the hours of 7am and 4:30pm.  We don't get much of that behavior at home!!!
