Living in the Des Moines area, I am easily tempted by the girls state basketball tournament. I love everything about it and even enjoy watching games at Wells Fargo Arena. Vets has plenty of charm but Wells Fargo is very nice.
This year the school district that we live in made it to the tourney. I asked Ryan if he was interested in going and since it was his alma mater, he was willing to attend. We saw a couple great games on Friday afternoon and I was pleasantly surprised by the support for SEP. Their style and level of play made me an instant fan. They have a great coach and a young team. I'll definitely be bringing Kenna to a few home games next year.
