It occurred to me today that it was roughly one year ago when we noticed Maci starting to limp/not bend her leg. It's amazing to me how much has happened in that time span and how much our little peanut has been through. I could not be more proud of her. While she periodically tests our patience by refusing medicine, overall she is a trooper.
We go back to Iowa City on Thursday next week. This is another check up and more blood work to make sure the methotrexate isn't scorching her liver. Since she has been on and off it so much lately due to ear infections, I'm sure her blood work will be fine. We look forward to seeing Dr. Hong and having her confirm Maci is still in remission!
