I knew that Maci getting tubes didn't necessarily mean the end of ear infections. But last time it did so I assumed it would be the same this time around. Little Moo Moo got her second ear infection of the year this week. So frustrating! No methotrexate and antibiotics instead. I've spoken to her rheumotologist and ENT nurse. Both of them are amazing and are always looking for ways to keep her on track. We really are blessed to have the healthcare we have available (and good insurance too!).
The kid is a trooper even when she doesn't feel well. The only reason I knew she was in any pain is because the daycare teachers said she'd been pulling on it so I asked her about it. She simply said, "yeah, this one hurts mommy. Will you kiss it?"
