My Girls

We are having lots of fun with our girls these days.  Even with Maci not feeling well she still tries to be her happy little self.  She is motoring around full speed and can pop right up to a standing position.  The little peanut is super brave and thinks she can just let go of things and stand on her own.  For the longest time I thought she'd be a late walker but now I'm thinking it could be in the next month.

Maci holds her own with Kenna too.  Lately Kenna has been testing the waters to see what she can get away with especially where Maci is involved.  She'll take thing from her only to be told immediately not to take things from her sister.  Kenna has also expanded on her bossiness.  We frequently have to tell her to stop lecturing Maci.  Or she'll invade Maci's space and get a little too close.  There is no need for us to intervene when this happens though.  Maci will grab, pull and scream and often pushes Kenna away.  She can definitely hold her own.

Kenna's vocabulary is on the rise again.  She speaks very clearly...which is great...most of the time.  Her ability to chat helps her manipulate any situation to get what she wants.  If she weren't so darn cute, it would be easier to say no. We still fight with her to get ready in the morning.  I have to keep in mind that its not her fault she is a dawdler.  She genetically inherited it from her father.  :)  She doesn't know the meaning of hustle.
