Ryan picked up Kenna from daycare yesterday and she seemed out of it and kind of whiny. She'd been pretty good all weekend but just not her normal super happy self. We wavered back and forth on whether or not we should take her to urgent care. She was scheduled for an ear recheck on Wednesday so I considered waiting but didn't want her to suffer two more days if she really did still have the ear infection.
So off we went! Luckily it wasn't too busy and we got in pretty quickly. Trying to keep a crawler off the floor at a doctor's office is no small task. She was doing everything in her power to get on the floor and move around. The doctor checked her ears and not surprisingly, her right one was still red. She gave us a different antibiotic and told us to reschedule her ear check with our regular pediatrician in 10 days. Needless to say, I was relieved we took her in.
