I must have had some hidden guilt after leaving the girls last week as I felt the urge to do all sorts of activities with the girls last weekend. We started out by making dirt cake and painting pumpkins Saturday morning. This (and baths) all happened before Iowa's 11am kickoff! No small feat with little people but when you get up at 5:30am anything is possible!
We ran some miscellaneous errands, played outside and got some yard work done before winter. All in all a fantastic family weekend. It's nice just to hang out at home and get things done once in a while.
