Peanut Update

Thought I'd give everyone a little update on what my peanuts have been up to lately...

Kenna:
Oh, this child....it's always a constant battle.  Kenna is extremely focused and when her mind is on something you cannot distract her.  No idea where she gets that? :)  Her speech is well beyond her years and I have trouble remembering that she's not even 3 yet.

Last weekend we bought her a glove (which she calls a glub).  It is pink of course.  We may have created a monster because she is always wanting to play catch and go outside now.  She's got the 'ready' stance down pretty well and throwing comes fairly naturally to her.  Sometimes she likes to put the glove on her right hand instead of left and swings the bat pretty well from both sides.  We will continue to encourage both.

Recently we found out she will be old enough for Wee Tee Ball this fall.  I'm going to sign her up on Monday.  Needless to say it will be very interesting...#1 because Ryan will be coaching 3 and 4 year olds and #2 it's really Kenna's first attempt at organized sports.

Maci:
Maci has turned into quite the goofball.  She loves to play games and often taunts her sister by turning off the tv or just wanting to grab/push/pull/touch her in general.  One of her favorite things to do is go into Kenna's room and wake her up in the mornings or during naps.  Drives me nuts.

She is motoring around with ease now and loves to be chased.  I'm guessing she wears herself out toddling around and that is why she eats like a little piglet.

Maci is always ready to greet you with a smile and wave.  She is now saying uh oh, hi, mama, dada and shaking her head yes and no.  She is so much fun right now.
