Date Night

Ryan and Kenna had their first Valentine's Day date night.  (She was very clear that Maci and I were to stay home.)  Kenna chose McDonald's.  Sadly, she's never really been to a McDonald's because we simply never eat there.  Ryan said she was very distracted and went on and on about the noise.  It sounds like she ate really well which is quite uncommon for her.  Their dinner was interrupted by an extended trip to the potty.  It never fails that she has to use a public restroom.  Much to my amusement Ryan said she had the urge to belt out a made up song in the men's restroom.

On their way out Kenna insisted on jumping off the curb by herself.  According to Ryan she was not successful and ended up face planting into the concrete and scratching up her hands.  The idea of Dairy Cream ice cream dried up her tears pretty quickly. 

All in all it sounds like they had a great time.  This morning she had to tell all her teachers and little friends about her date with her Daddy.
